BAD WEATHER
If a game or practice is going to be cancelled, you will be contacted by your child’s coach.
Games and practices will not be cancelled due to moderate rain or snow, but may be delayed until poor weather subsides. If there is lightning or thunder, players are not allowed on the fields until 30 minutes after the last occurrence of lightning or thunder.
Players are encouraged to dress according to weather conditions. Players may wear extra layers under their jersey if needed. If a rec soccer game is cancelled, it will be played on the rainout date. If a travel soccer game is cancelled, it will be up to the coaches to determine if the game will be played on another date.
CASA follows the US Soccer heat guidelines for rec soccer and the MHSAA heat guidelines for travel soccer.
